Meet the KC Research Allies

Jennifer works with curriculum development and management including the 2016 launch of a unique Innov8 program that allows students to develop skills needed in a modern job market. While some courses have a STEM focus, innovation is a cross curricular endeavor. As Director of Innovation, Jennifer’s responsibilities include guiding the innovation team in the development of courses that integrate project based learning and technology. Career exploration is provided through internships and interactions with professionals in outreach from the Innov8 courses. Prior to this position, Jennifer served on the science education front in many capacities and has a masters in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University.
